Ingredients:
- ¼ cup dried white beans
- ¼ cup water
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp chopped onion
- 1 tbsp raisins
- 1 tbsp chopped hazelnuts or walnuts (can substitute almonds or pistachios)
- ½ tsp turmeric
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
Instructions:
- Grind up beans into flour in a food processor (we used a magic bullet)
- Add water, one clove of garlic, and dry ingredients and stir until well mixed
- Pour into lightly buttered pan and cook until sides crisp and bottom golden brown (~2min)
- Meanwhile in another pan, sauté onions, other clove of garlic, raisins, and nuts in butter
- Flip and cook until other side golden brown (~1min)
- Serve hot, topped with onion, fruit, and nut mixture
