The corner of Summit and Montclair St is an intersection that serves as a stop for various elementary and middle-school bus routes. Currently, there is no seating or cover from the elements. We hope to implement a covered bus stop shelter on this corner to protect young students from the sun, rain, and snow, while also providing seating for those with disabilities or for those who just need a rest.

In addition to the covered seating area, we hope to incorporate a bulletin board to convey information about the Park and permaculture in general to students at the bus stop and other pedestrians. We could post information about events happening in the park and other resources for the community. In addition, this board could provide space for other residents of the neighborhood to post bulletins about different local events, initiatives, or important issues.

Currently, we are working with the City of Bethlehem Zoning Board as well as the Superintendent of Schools to get this project approved. We hope to have it completed prior to the start of the 2019-2020 school year.
